Pop-Up Proposals

Sullivan Creative Co. books the proposal. A planner partner runs it. The couple gets a proposal they'll never forget, and both of us get to know them right before they plan a wedding.

This is still an early idea. Nothing is priced or final, and what you'd charge is the number we need most.

One couple, three chapters.

Proposal-only companies book the moment and disappear. This puts a planner and a photographer in front of the same couple at the very start, and lets each of us earn the next chapter.

01

Proposal

We book the couple, then you help plan the proposal. You learn about the two of them, organize the plan, decorate the spot, and run the day so the moment happens on cue. We're there hidden with a camera.

02

Plan

This is where it pays off for you. A proposal puts you in front of a couple right before they need a wedding planner. If they click with you, you offer them your planning services directly. It's a paid way to start that relationship and see if it's a fit, for them and for you.

03

Wedding

If the couple wants us back for their wedding photo and film, Sullivan Creative Co. picks it up from there. If they don't, no harm done. We're just trying to fill the pipeline, for both of us.

Three ways in

Pricing isn't locked down. This is still the early stage of an idea, and these numbers are a starting point based on what SCC's wedding packages already charge. Once we know what planners charge per job, they'll move.

Who does what

Sullivan Creative Co. handles

Finding the couple

Marketing and booking. We sell the package and take payment.

Sharing the work

Jobs go out round robin across our planner partners, so nobody gets buried or forgotten.

Photo and film

The part we already do well, out of sight until the moment.

The editorial eye

So it never reads like a stock proposal package.

The follow-through

If the couple wants us for the wedding, we show up again.

You handle

Getting to know them

Learning about the couple and planning the proposal with them.

Running the day

Timing, setup, and the reveal, so it happens on cue.

Install and decor

Plus the dinner or gathering on the bigger tiers.

Your rate

A flat fee per tier, set by you, paid on every job you take.

No chasing

No marketing, sales calls or invoices. Take your turn if the date works, pass if it doesn't.

The relationship after

If the couple wants a wedding planner, that conversation is yours.

Idea, not locked: If they book their wedding with SCC within 18 months, the full proposal fee is credited toward that booking. Nobody pays twice, and it's the strongest reason for a couple to pick this over a photographer-for-hire. On The Celebration tier, that's most of a wedding deposit covered before they've even set a date.
